Barrett-Jackson continues to grow with new Executive VP of Growth & Strategy.

 The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions®, has hired an Executive Vice President/Growth and Strategy. Welcome Ken Cranston who will now join the world famous Scottsdale-based company.

Cranston’s focus will be to partner with the management team and drive business process, strategic initiatives, acquisitions and assist in brand expansion.

“We’re excited to bring Ken on board here at Barrett-Jackson,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “This company has seen incredible growth over recent years and Ken’s experience and expertise will help propel us to new heights moving forward.”

An experienced leader with a significant track record of building strategic partnerships in both public and privately held companies, Cranston is known for leading change in complex business environments while improving efficiencies and profitability. He has extensive experience working with private equity partners and leading acquisition activity through his executive roles in management, sales, marketing and operations.

“I see tremendous value in the Barrett-Jackson brand,” said Cranston. “I’m excited to be a part of this company and the growing collector car community. I see real opportunities to partner and grow this business both domestically and internationally.”

Most recently, Cranston served as Senior Vice President of Admissions at Universal Technical Institute (UTI) in Scottsdale, where he led a team of more than 300 individuals. Prior to UTI, Cranston worked with Sun Capital Partners of Melbourne, Florida, a leading investment firm focused on leveraged buyouts, equity, debt and other investments in market-leading companies. Cranston was the CEO of a portfolio company and advised on all investment and operational aspects of business.

Before his time in Florida, Cranston spent seven years as the CEO of Terion, Inc., in Plano, Texas. Terion was a pioneer in the use of wireless tracking technology in the transportation sector, and investors included high-profile transportation names and private equity firms. Cranston guided all operations of the business while focusing on securing rapid growth in company value and a positive liquidity event
