Kathy’s report on why some Brophy seniors were in the spotlight.

The  annual fashion show for Brophy College Preparatory  is always a well attended and popular event. The proud group of  Brophy seniors pictured above were in the spotlight at last year's successful fundraiser.  Every year seems to shine bigger and brighter. And this year's turnout was a crowd of 1,250 ...  a sold out affair at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess!  Add the appearance of celebrity designer Zang Toi at the luncheon. It was quite the VIP afternoon.  

Stacy Thomas and Mary Kay Mclanahan (above left) co-chaired the fundraiser hosted by the Brophy Mother’s Guild and Saks Fifth Avenue.  Above right is Brophy President, Father Edward Reese, Vice President Adria Renke and Principal Bob Ryan.

 Professional models impressed on the catwalk donning Zang Toi’s 2016 spring collection from Saks. The Brophy senior class sported fashions from the Biltmore Fashion Park, Brophy Varsity Shop and Brophy Clubs and Sports. 

 All proceeds from the fashion show benefit Brophy's Financial Aid Fund. Brophy is proud of its commitment to support its students with financial aid which is based solely on need, and this year’s budget is $3.6 million.
