Behind the doors of this old world Spanish style home, is a 6 bedroom 5 1/2 bath abode fit for a king, or in this case, the General Manager of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Yes, Kevin Towers and his wife Raquel are selling the 5,852 square foot home in the charming Arcadia area of Phoenix for $1.95 million. Most of the materials in the house were imported from Mexico and the rustic hardwood floors are reclaimed from an abandoned 100-year-old Mexican ship.

Helping Kevin and Raquel go to bat for the sale is Jim Bruske, a former major league pitcher now with Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty.

He points out that this property was the dream home of the former owners who meticulously built  it reluctantly had to sell it in a short sale in 2011 for $1.3 million. Every detail was custom, right down to the air conditioning vent covers, made of copper from Mexico.
