What did Fitz say moments after being in the plane as it twisted and turned upside down?
Larry Fitzgerald was very sweaty and tired as he climbed out of the F16 at Luke Air Force Base in Glendale, AZ. The superstar Arizona Cardinals player had sweated through his clothes and flight suit, but he was exhilarated. “It was like being on a roller coster on steroids,” he said, still trying to catch his breath from the life time experience.
“It was a serious workout,” he added of his flight in the Air Force's Thunderbirds jet. Serious workout is an understatement! It was an hourlong flight and pilot Maj. Michael Fisher took the plane with Fitz into a vertical climb of 16,000 feet nto the skies and leveled off. Then, wait , there was more... lots of twists and turns and flying upside down!

Larry, who's an adventurer and world traveler took to the skies to help promote this weekend’s "Lightening in the Desert." The open house and show features the Thunderbirds' (the Air Force's official aerial demonstartion team) flying team and St Luke’s first F-35 Lightning II stealth fighter jet. It's free and open to the public .
By the way.. Larry confirms he didn’t use any of the many barfbags onboard, but he did become very lighted headed a few times.
