Legendary quarterback Jim McMahon is selling his Scottsdale home. Here's a look.

 What’s the home of a two -time Super Bowl player like? Well, Jim McMahon’s sprawling home is in the desert paradise of north Scottsdale. It’s super and grand and the former Chicago Bears quarterback is now selling it for $2.2 million. 

A bridge leading to the front door with a koi pond welcomes guests as they are enter the abode of natural stone.

The 6,400 main home boasts 4 bedrooms and 5 baths.The soaring wood beamed ceilings and natural stone create a magnificent living experience. The open floor plan is inviting, with a large living room and dining room combination with a spacious eat in kitchen and island with a breakfast bar.

The magnificent 2 plus acre property, with breathtaking views of the McDowell Mountains, lends itself to the lifestyle McMahon was seeking, (especially after living in Chicago for over 20 years.). The back yard of this luxurious abode fit for a Super Bowl king is adorbed with a gazebo and large fire pit.  “You could not replace this home, situated on a lot over two acres with this amount of privacy in Scottsdale, for what it’s priced at today,” says Mark Marsillo of Realty Executives who has the listing on the NFL star’s home.

  There’s also a 1,000 sq. ft. separate guest house with its own kitchen and two car garage. 

 By the way, Jim McMahon says he really fell in love with the Scottsdale weather when he played for the Arizona Cardinals in 1994. He recently threw a private Super Bowl party there for some of his big name athlete and musician friends.
