Could your community group be a part of the all the pageantry of the Fiesta Bowl’s parade? Well, the Fiesta Bowl is currently inviting groups to submit an application to participate in The Desert Financial Fiesta Bowl Parade presented by Cheez-It®.

Yes, your group could join this spectacular tradition which attracts thousands. (Pictured above in last year's parade are Parade Committee Chair Kieron Flint , Chairman of the Board  Steve Leach, Committee Chair Jeff Smith and Beth Leach.)

“The date for the Desert Financial Fiesta Bowl Parade presented by Cheez-It® is circled on the calendar for so many people around the state of Arizona,” said Mike Nealy, Executive Director of the Fiesta Bowl. “This year we are excited to honor the amazing women at all levels who have succeeded on their respective fields of play in sport. This will be a fantastic way to kick off our PlayStation Fiesta Bowl gameday.”

 In order to participate, the application must be completed by September 20, 2019, to be eligible of the 2019 Fiesta Bowl Parade.“The Desert Financial Fiesta Bowl Parade presented by Cheez-It® has established itself as one of Arizona’s signature community events,” said Patrick Barkley, Chairman of the Fiesta Bowl Board of Directors.

 This year, the Desert Financial Fiesta Bowl Parade, which has been a staple of the Valley since its first edition in 1972, will celebrate Women in Sports.  Admission is free to the public with premium and reserved seating available for purchase. The Desert Financial Fiesta Bowl Parade will kick off PlayStation Fiesta Bowl game day, culminating in the 49th Annual PlayStation Fiesta Bowl, which serves as one of the College Football Playoff Semifinal games this year. “The Parade is special because of the diverse group of people that take part in the event every year. We encourage everyone to submit an application to be a part of the Fiesta Bowl Parade,” adds Patrick Barkley.
