Thanksgiving Eve 2015 Dining in Phoenix

With dedicated dinners and dining specials throughout the Valley, Thanksgiving Eve has become just as big of a celebration as Turkey Day itself. Before the action starts on Thanksgiving, grab some friends and enjoy a Thanksgiving Eve feast.
On Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. at Cortijo Plaza, join Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia for the annual Thanksgiving Eve Celebration featuring Tito’s and Wild Turkey-inspired culinary creations and live entertainment by The Joe Costello Syndicate and DJ Jen Jones. All proceeds benefit Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP). Admission is free; donations are encouraged to benefit C-CAP, whose mission is to provide career opportunities in the food service industry for under served youth through culinary arts education and employment. On Nov. 25, head to El Chorro in Paradise Valley to enjoy seasonal cocktails and catch up with friends and family during the restaurant’s annual Thanksgiving Eve celebration. The fun begins at 4 p.m.
This Thanksgiving Eve,  hang with your friends at Crudo (pictured) and Okra Cookhouse & Cocktails as both restaurants host pre-Turkey Day parties on Wednesday, Nov.25. Kicking off from 9 p.m. to close at Crudo, the third annual “Put A Bird On It” party pairs rib-stickin’ eats with a selection of divine cocktails. Over at Okra, the party kick offs at 5 p.m. with “Elvis Thanksgiving” featuring a feast fit for the king and a selection of Elvis-approved cocktails.
Kick-off your Thanksgiving weekend at Kelly’s at SouthBridge’s 4th Annual Friends-giving Party.  On Nov. 25, relax with your friends in your best holiday ugly sweaters at Kelly’s. A photo booth will be there to capture all the fun along with drink specials, a pie eating contest, music and more. DJ Convince will start playing at 9 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. and Sassy and the Sneak Attack will play from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m.
Ticoz Latin Kitchen is celebrating the day before Thanksgiving with all-day happy hour pricing on drinks and appetizers as well as their Wednesday feature—the Sampler Sabor which includes fried calamari, guacammus, queso con chorizo, lettuce wraps and a choice of a pitcher of sangria, margaritas or a select bottle of wine.
Join SumoMaya on the day before Thanksgiving to help those in need. From 11 a.m. to close,  SumoMaya will host a fundraiser to benefit the St. Vincent de Paul. For $10, SumoMaya will sell a “Social Hour Pass” that will allow purchasers to enjoy Social Hour pricing on food and drinks all day at the bar, plus one complimentary frozen Patron spicy mango margarita. All proceeds from each Social Hour Pass sold will be donated to St. Vincent de Paul. Additionally there will be $5 cocktail specials, DJ Soloman spinning tunes starting at 6:30 p.m. and other fun surprises.
From 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Thanksgiving Eve, enjoy live music and a good time at Wasted Grain’s ‘Twas the Wasted Night Before Thanksgiving. There will be happy hour specials from 3 to 7 p.m. followed by live music featuring Sunday 80’s cover band, Metal Head. Local favorite, DJ Groove Candy, will be upstairs in 100 Proof Lounge, where they will feature special bottle pricing upstairs.
