Known as the unofficial start of summer, Memorial Day weekend is nearly upon up (May 29). These Valley restaurants are hosting special dining deals, menus and specials for veterans and active military members.
Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers will dish up its All American Burger with chips and a Bud Light Draught for $12 all day on Monday, May 29.
The Funky Monk will offer the $10 Pizza & a Pint deal (excludes premium draughts) along with half off bottles of select wine and Champagne. Offer valid all day May 26 to May 29.
All day Sunday, May 28, Kelly’s at Southbridge will offer all-day happy hour. Kelly’s will have half-price appetizers, bruschetta, bottles of wine and Champagne. All drafts, house wines and wells are $4 and signature cocktails are $4 off. Sunday is also National Hamburger Day and Kelly’s will serve all burgers for $12. All day Monday, May 29, Kelly’s will offer 25 percent off all food and drinks (excluding happy hour and alcohol) and half price bottles of wine.
Enjoy Memorial Day at Tavern Americana with a feast of beer-can roasted chicken, corn on the cob and potato salad (the special serves four people for $30).
On Memorial Day (May 29), veterans and active mbilitary eat free at Twin Peaks from a menu of five items, including beer-battered tenders, Philly cheesesteak, cheeseburger an dmuch more.
Beginning Memorial Day, Monday, May 29 to Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 4, enjoy the annual favorite All Night, All Summer Happy Hour at Roaring Fork (pictured) restaurant.  Beginning at 4 p.m. Monday through Sunday, guests can receive happy hour pricing in the bar and Saloon on tortilla soup, green chili pork, pork wings with Dr. Pepper barbecue sauce, grilled fish tacos and much more. In addition, wines by the glass will be offered for the price of $5 as well as “Roaring Cocktails” including the famous huckleberry margarita, adult Arnold Palmer, the classic martini and Manhattan, and traditional or guava mojitos.
On Monday, May 29, enjoy a family meal at Liberty Station for $39 (feeds two to three guests). Dig into a full pound of brisket and a half rack of St. Louis ribs. Full sides include cornbread, Boston baked beans and coleslaw.
Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort will honor former and current members of the military on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 20, and Memorial Day, Monday, May 29, with dining specials in their buffets. During each observance, veterans and active-duty military can enjoy a two-for-one lunch at Casino Arizona’s Eagles Buffet or Talking Stick Resort’s Wandering Horse Buffet. To take advantage of the exclusive offer, guests must present their veteran’s card or military ID along with their Player Reward’s Club Card to the Player Rewards Club Desk at either property. They will then receive a two for one voucher for use at the respective buffet. The Eagles Buffet at Casino Arizona is open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Z’Tejas will be hosting an all-day happy hour to celebrate Memorial Day. Specials include $6 Sixth Street margarita, frozen or on the rocks, $7 Chambord margarita, $7 mules, $8 prickly pear and jalapeno-cucumber margaritas and many more tasty deals.
To kick off Memorial Day weekend on Friday, May 26, Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row will donate $10,000 to the Heal the Hero, a local veterans nonprofit which helps fund solutions for veterans and their families battling PTSD, TBI and other stress-related disorders. Whiskey Row will also donate a portion of the proceeds from Friday’s sales between 4 and 7 p.m. In addition, active military, veterans, police and fire will receive 25 percent  off their bill when visit a Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row location Memorial Day weekend starting Friday through Monday, May 29. That discount is offered to active and retired military year-round.
On Monday, May 29, subscribers of Sauce Pizza & Wine’s email list will receive an offer for 25 percent off their entire bill to use on Memorial Day only. For those that are not yet members, make sure to sign up before Memorial Day to receive the offer. Offer is valid at all locations excluding Sky Harbor.
On Monday, May 29, True Food Kitchen’s e-bite members will receive an offer for 25 percent off their entire bill to use on Memorial Day only. Not a member? Just sign up on the website before May 29 to receive the offer. The holiday will also kick off True Food Kitchen’s summertime happy hour offerings, which will go through Labor Day.
In honor of Memorial Day all Fox Restaurant Concepts e-bite members will receive 25 percent off their entire bill when they dine in at any participating Fox concept on Monday, May 29. Guests who aren’t already members can sign up through the website before the holiday and be automatically enrolled to receive the offer via email. Then, simply show the e-mail to your server or bartender to receive the discount.
