The Skinny Italian Kitchen, a Mancuso Restaurant, will join the likes of Ocean Prime and Blue Martini at Phoenix’s CityCenter of CityNorth when it opens this summer. The restaurant will feature traditional Italian cuisine with a healthy twist. “It is a privilege to work with Bobby Mancuso on this new dining concept,” says Leslie Himley, marketing director for CityCenter of CityNorth. “With more than 40 years experience in the local restaurant industry, Mancuso’s family-owned Skinny Italian Kitchen will resonate with local families and our ever-increasing office and residential tenants.
In addition to healthful Italian fare that won’t bust budgets, the menu at The Skinny Italian Kitchen will feature several vegetarian and vegan options as well as gluten-free and traditional Italian entrees and sandwiches. Services will include take-out, curbside pick-up and traditional dine-in. “We understand it is difficult to find healthy, delicious meals to fit today’s budgets,” says Bobby Mancuso, president of Mancuso Restaurants Inc. “The Skinny Italian’s menu will be full of flavor, yet light on your wallet and waistline so guests won’t feel guilty returning again and again to satisfy their need for authentic Italian cuisine.”
The Skinny Italian Kitchen will include plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well as lunch, dinner and weekend specials. The casual, yet modern interior will have a touch of Old World charm to welcome both families and those who are enjoying a business lunch. “The location on High Street is so accessible whether you need to get in and quickly back to your work or family, or have time to sit and enjoy the inviting atmosphere,” Mancuso says. www.citycenterofcitynorth.com.
