At La Hacienda at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, pretty much every day is National Guacamole Day. The resort restaurant dishes up guacamole fest that includes three unique varieties (you can even request a sampling of all three). SOL Cocina at Scottsdale Quarter dishes up four different and delicious varieties of guacamole: Naked Guacamole boasts just the basics; Guacamole SOL is kicked up a notch with mango and tequila; Guacamole Verano is especially unique with raspberries, chile con limon, serranos, almonds and cotija; and Corn Goddess Guacamole is full of grilled, crunchy corn. www.solcocina.com.
At America’s Taco Shop, they do simple guacamole at its best. Fresh avocados, a touch of lime juice, diced tomatoes, onions and jalapenos make up this traditional dish. Order up some horchata and chips and call it a meal. www.americastacoshop.com.
