The Arizona Biltmore has parterned with The Tasting Panel Magazine, The San Francisco International Wine Competition and The San Francisco World Spirits Competition to bring the Wine & Spirits Festival to Phoenix this Labor Day weekend.
The Arizona Biltmore Wine & Spirits Festival is four days of beverage and culinary activities including a Grand Tasting with guest chefs, Double Gold winning wines and spirits, live broadcast of the Blue Lifestyle radio show, cooking demonstrations, mixology and wine seminars, a Historical Dinner Tour of the Arizona Biltmore, Champagne Brunch and many more exciting events. (A complete detailing of events is available on the Arizona Biltmore Web site.) Events kick off on Friday, Aug. 31 and go through Monday, Sept. 3 (Labor Day).
And the lineup of Wine & Spirits Festival chefs certainly does not disappoint: Brendan Collins, Executive Chef, Waterloo & City, the top-rated British gastropub in Culver City, Calif.; and Shannon Swindle, Pastry Chef, Craft, the Los Angeles restaurant of award-winning chef Tom Colicchio. The featured mixologist will be Aidan Demarest, the cocktail innovator extraordinaire and owner of Neat, in Glendale, Calif., as well as a judge for The San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Though various ticket packages are available, tickets may be purched a la carte for each event (starting at $20) or guests can purchase a festival ticket which includes multiple events for $180 per person. www.arizonabiltmore.com.
