Save the date, as Arizona’s only AAA Five-Diamond and Forbes Five-Star restaurant, Kai at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass has announced dates for its annual wine dinner series.
Kai will pair its award-winning cuisine with wines from Arizona and Oregon for three entirely different, six-course dinner events that will feature an individual winery with cuisine influenced by its flavors.
These events will be offered to a limited number of guests and will range from $165 to $185 per person. Each guest is invited to a private reception with hors d’oeuvres beginning at 6:30 p.m. The six-course dinner with wine pairings will then follow with seating at 7 p.m.
Thursday, March 9: Kai will offer an exclusive dinner with pairings from Caduceus Cellars of Jerome. The menu will take you on a journey of diverse flavors as each course was created to be paired with a specific wine. A course highlight includes hiramasa and oysters, perfume of the sea, coriander blooms, cucumber buttermilk and spring onions paired alongside the 2013 Marzo Rosé of Garnacha.
Thursday, May 18: The menu will pair with the wines of Dos Cabezas WineWorks of Sonoita. Chef Ryan Swanson and his team were able to stroll through the Southern Arizona vineyards last summer, providing endless inspiration for an intricate menu.
Monday, July 3: The final installment will be hosted in partnership with one of Oregon’s premier luxury wine producers, Domaine Serene. As an added bonus, enjoy the Wild Horse Pass Fourth of July Fireworks show and private viewing on Kai’s patio.
