Happy National Tequila Day! To whet your whistle after work today, try one of these tempting tequila recipes from the folks at Herradura.
Fresh Margarita
1 ½ oz. Herradura Reposado
½ oz. Cointreau
1 ½ oz. Agave Nectar
1 ½ oz. Fresh Lime Juice
Directions:
1. In a shaker filled with ice, add all ingredients
2. Shake to mix
3. Serve in a salt-rimmed rocks glass
Añejo Old Fashioned
2 slices of Orange
2 Scoops of Sugar
3 Drops Angostura Bitters
½ oz. Herradura Añejo
1-2 Brandied Cherries
Directions:
1. In an Old Fashioned glass muddle the orange slices, sugar, and bitters.
2. Add ice sphere to glass.
3. Add Herradura Añejo.
4. Garnish with brandied cherries.
