Valley Southwestern Eatery Debuts Spring Menu

 
Fans of the Valley’s Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill have even more than the restaurant’s amazing happy hour deals and mmm-inducing margaritas to be excited about. The Valley restaurant, which has four locations throughout the Valley (Scottsdale, Tempe, Phoenix and Chandler), will debut its brand-new spring meny on Tuesday, March 27. Here is a sneak peek of the tastiest you have to look forward to:
Entrees:
Ahi Chipotle Citrus Bites
Ahi tuna, mango, jicama atop house-made crispy tostada rounds, topped with avocado wasabi aïoli.
Green Chile Pork Nachos
Tender pork simmered in green chiles and ancho peppers with tortilla chips, melted Jack cheese, borracho beans, fresh jalapeños and served with hand-hacked guacamole.
Pepita-Crusted Chicken
Cilantro pesto chicken breast coated with pumpkin seeds, layered with sweet potato hash, spinach, artichokes and mushrooms, served with roasted poblano sauce.
Grown-Up Grilled Cheese
Brioche bread layered with Asadero and Parmesan cheeses, served with choice of cup of soup or side salad. 
Peppercorn-Crusted Filet
Filet topped with roasted mushroom herb demi-glaze, au gratin potatoes and grilled mixed vegetables.

Tamari Tuna

Ahi tuna rolled in black and white sesame seeds, seared and served atop a tamari cream sauce with green chile rice, seasonal vegetables, pickled ginger and ancho chile glaze.
Specialty Cocktails:
Bud Light Platinum
Introducing a new beer from Bud Light. The flavor is balanced by a light sweetness that comes from the use of caramel malts in the brewing process.
Blood Orange Paloma
Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur, St-Germain Liqueur, POM Wonderful, Sprite®, club soda, with a float of Milagro Silver Tequila
Solerno Sunset
Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur, Milagro Silver Tequila, pineapple and lime juices with muddled raspberries.
Dessert:
Ancho Fudge Pie
The famous fudge pie with walnuts, pecans and a pinch of ancho chile to bring out the rich chocolate flavor, served warm with whipped cream.
