Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North welcomes Kistler Winery to its signature Talavera restaurant for a special one-night-only dining event on Friday, March 21. Executive Chef Mel Mecinas is partnering with Kistler Winery to offer a four-course wine-paired menu as part of the “Taste Talavera” wine dinner series.
Next Thursday, March 27, all five Valley RA Sushi locations will be hosting a Yin-Yang Guest Appreciation Night. From 7 p.m. to close, guests can pair a variety of items (like apps and sushi rolls) for only $10 and select from a menu of $5 signature cocktails, glasses of wine, beer and sake.
The first time since Chef Dustin Christofolo has taken over the kitchen, Quiessence (pictured) at The Farm at South Mountain is hosting a wine dinner. The chef will be teaming up with Lawrence Dunham Vineyards for a five-course experience with delicious wines on Wednesday, March 26 at 6:30 p.m. $75 per person. Known for its amazing meats, Scottsdale’s Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse has just introduced Chilean sea bass to its menu. This light fish will be served with a splash of Brazilian-inspired, fresh mango relish and offered at the gourmet salad bar and à la carte.
Great American Barbeque & Beer Festival returns to Chandler this Saturday, March 22. More than 60 pit masters from across the nation is serving up more than 20,000 lbs of mouthwatering ‘cue (other food vendors will also be in attendance), and the event will also host live music from Blues Traveler, eating contests, whiskey and beer, a kids’ zone and much more. General admission tickets are $10 and that includes entry into the event at noon. Food and beverages are sold separately. Children 12 years of age and younger are admitted for free. At 6 p.m. on March 27, Taggia at Scottsdale’s Firesky Resort hosts Community Dinner: Porchetta on the Patio. The spring-inspired porchetta dinner is served family style on the communal table right off Taggia’s grill/smoker. Dinner is $50 and includes one glass of wine.
