The Greene House at Kierland Commons just added a must-try happy hour menu available Monday through Friday from 3-6 p.m. It embraces fresh seasonal ingredients, approachable wines and an assortment of local, imported and craft beers that are sure to make your taste buds and wallet happy. Try the healthful chopped kale salad for $5 or truffle Parmesan fries for $4.
From 7 p.m. to close, next Friday, January 31, The Shout House in Glendale is celebrating its sixth birthday. They’ll have a variety of food and drink specials, including $6 appetizers and $6 specialty cocktails.

The first-ever Taste In Tempe will take over the Tempe Center for the Arts Amphitheater, Sunday, Feb. 9, 1 to 4 p.m. Taste In Tempe offers tastes of local fare from 30 restaurants as guests stroll along the lakefront for a romantic themed afternoon of food, music and celebration. Wine purveyors from around the globe and craft breweries will sample beverages and offer wine seminars. In addition, celebrity chefs will perform up-close-and-personal demonstrations of their signature cuisine, while CBS Radio stations KMLE Country @ 107.9, LIVE 101.5, and KOOL FM deliver LIVE music and entertainment. Tickets are $59 in advance; tickets are $69 at the door. They are available on the Web sites of any of the aforementioned radio stations.
