This weekend: The fourth annual Arizona BBQ Festival takes over Salt River Fields in Scottsdale. Rib-sticking eats, live music, fun for kids and much more is expected.

The newest Z’Tejas opens in central Phoenix April 22. (It is the first opening in Arizona in more than 10 years.)

On Thursday, April 25, Crudo celebrates its one year anniversary by offerings its menu at half-price all evening long. Drink and wine specials will also be on tap.

Best of Our Valley winner (for Best Cup of Coffee and Best Grocery Store) Luci’s Healthy Marketplace (pictured) in Phoenix is now serving alcohol, including beer, wine by the glass and bottle, and mimosas all day. In May, Luci’s will debut its house-made sangria.

Pig & Pickle in Scottsdale has announced a monthly beer-pairing dinner the third Monday of every month. Each four-course dinner will feature a different brand of beer each month (Oskar Blues will be spotlighted in May). The dinner is $44.44 per person, all inclusive. Vintner’s Circle, a cool new spot in Scottsdale that allows guests to design their own custom beer and wine, is celebrating its official Grand Opening on Thursday, April 25, with a portion of all sales proceeds going to Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Foundation.
