Through Nov. 8, enjoy Hopdoddy Burger Bar‘s Pumpkin Chipotle Cheesecake shake special. Homemade pumpkin butter is swirled in a glass with house-churned spice vanilla ice cream and topped off with whipped cream and chipotle sugar.
Citizen Public House has updated its social hour menu (enjoy ramen, oysters and more) and are also offering some new dessert options: spiced ale cake with caramel apples, salted bourbon ice cream and streusel, and the dude jar, a chocolate pot de crème with Kahlua crema, cookie crunch, browned butter hemp seed white chocolate cookies.
Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop is celebrating National Sandwich Day (Nov. 3) this year by giving a lucky fan at each Arizona location (Phoenix and Chandler) free subs for a year. On Nov. 3, anyone who buys a sub and uses Capriotti’s CAPAddicts Rewards App will be automatically entered to win free subs for a year. New users will also receive $2 in CAPS Cash to use towards their next Capriotti’s meal.
Free Cheeseburger Day at Joe’s Farm Grill (pictured) is on Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy one cheeseburger, French fries, fixings, soda or water per person; kids will receive a kids’ portion.  This year, the Gilbert Fire Department (with a fire engine for touring) will be on site to collect toys for Gilbert families in need.
On Nov. 4 at Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails, three notable Valley chefs, Chef Sean Currid (Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails), Chef Massimo De Francesca (SaltRock Southwest Kitchen in Sedona, Taggia in Scottsdale) and Matt Taylor (Gertrude’s Restaurant) are teaming up for a fun night celebrating Canadian whisky and the Great White North (Massimo and Matt are both Canadian). The four-course whisky-paired dinner starts at 6:30 p.m.; appetizers will be passed at 6 p.m. $65 plus tax and gratuity. RSVP required: 602.258.0231.
Scramble – a Breakfast Joint announces its Fall Pancake series available now through the end of the year at both of its locations (Phoenix and Scottsdale). The first stack in the fall series is Chef Rick’s Pumpkin Apple Pancakes made using pumpkin batter and roasted green apples and topped with warm caramel and a rich cinnamon cream cheese frosting, served with Schreiner’s sausage patties for $8.79. These will be available through the end of October.
Half Moon Sports Grill, with two locations in Phoenix, just announced the addition of “All You Can Eat Shrimp” to its fall menu. Every Friday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., guests can order the new “All You Can Eat Shrimp” menu item featuring a special sauce infused with New Belgium Snapshot Wheat Ale created by Half Moon Executive Chef Marlene Portillo. The peel and eat shrimp boil comes complete with andouille sausage, corn on the cob and red potatoes tossed all tossed in a bold Cajun sauce for $17.89. Chef Portillo suggests you pair it with a pint of Snapshot Wheat Ale, available all day Friday for $3.50.
Savor the flavors of fall at Singh Farms in Scottsdale as they celebrate the return of their weekly farmers market this Saturday, Oct. 31. Open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Singh Farms is a 20-acre organic oasis located right in the heart of Scottsdale and famed for their all-natural composts, seeds, vegetable and herb garden starters, hydrolyzed fish fertilizer and more. However, from late fall through early summer, the farm also offers the finest farm-grown, fresh-plucked produce (eggplants, habaneros, and bell peppers are all in season), plus unfiltered raw honey and house-hatched eggs. During the farmers market, Singh Farms also brings in top local purveyors, including MJ Bread, Tammie Coe Cakes, Boho Farms, Wonder Mustard and incredible Fuji apples from English Farms, plus so much more.
On Halloween at Marcellino Ristorante, sample Chef Marcellino’s “Spooky Sangria” and participate in a costume contest with fabulous prizes including a chef’s tasting for two for the grand winner. Live music and other “treats” in store.
