Foodie news roundup for the week of June 29.
Head to The Herb Box this season for half-price bottles of wine on Thursdays as well as a “Summer Supper Club.” The Summer Supper Club features different courses from around the world every two weeks. It takes place Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to close and features two courses and a glass of wine is $30.
Drop into Culinary Dropout this summer to experience the newly expanded happy hour menu, available Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. Grab some friends, co-workers or the family and enjoy food and drink specials ranging from $1.95 to $6. Culinary Dropout is also giving guests a chance each month this summer to mix like a master at-home with a fully loaded, stocked bar. Anytime guests post a photo on Instagram while at Culinary Dropout and tag it #StockTheBar, they are automatically entered for the chance to win. Guests can expect all the ins-and-outs that every stocked home bar should have like a tin shaker, bar spoon, strainer, and cocktail essentials like Vermouth, bitters, amaro, and much more. A new winner will be selected at the end of each month.
Tuesdays, all day long, at Pink Pony in Scottsdale, patrons can enjoy a Burger & Beer special for $10 (pictured). The special includes a mouthwatering cheeseburger or Blue Burger and select craft beer or house wine.
