Latin Passport Dinner Series in Phoenix


Can’t get away this summer but still want to experience mouthwatering Latin cuisine? Look not further than the new Latin Passport Dinner Series at Province restaurant, located at The Westin Phoenix Downtown. Through November, Executive Chef Randy Zweiban will guide guests on a “rich and exciting tour of flavors, dishes and cultures.” The Latin Passport Dinner Series takes place on the first Saturday of the month.
Each dinner in the Latin Passport Dinner Series will feature a four-course menu for $35 per person. Supplemental beverage pairings are available and they will highlight the cocktails and wines of the corresponding country.

August: Cuba

Croquetas de Calabaza y Queso de Cabra – croquetas of squash and goat cheese

Camarones al Ajillo – Jumbo shrimp in roasted garlic sauce

Lechon Asado con Platanos Maduros y Moros y Cristianos – Orange mojo slow-roasted

Berkshire Pork with fried ripe plantains with black beans and white rice

Pastel de Limones – Key Lime Tartlet

September: Puerto Rico

Plantain Mofungo “Cigars”

Grilled Snapper “Escabeche” on Tostones

Guava Barbecued Slow-Roasted Pork Skewers

Coconut Crema with Coconut Sorbet and Cocoa Crisps

October: Argentina

Empanadas de Pollo – Chicken Empanadas

Sweet Crispy Pumpkin and Cheese Ravioles

November: Brazil

Bolinho de Bacalahu com Salad de XuXu – Bacalao Fritters with Orange and Chayote Salad

Frutos de Mar – Shrimp, Scallops, Lobster, Crab, and Octopus with Passion fruit Crema

Feijoada – Beef, Pork, Chicken, Linguica Sausage, Black Beans and Green Onions
