Immune Power Menu at True Food Kitchen

Hopefully, you’re all still abiding by your eat healthy in 2010 New Year’s resolutions, right? I’m talking to you, the one sipping a caramel macchiato and nibbling a doughnut as you read this. Well, True Food Kitchen has made it a bit easier–and more delicious–to let go of the doughnuts and other unhealthy eats with the introduction of Dr. Weil’s Immune Power Menu. (I’m sure you’ve heard of Dr. Weil before–he is a local doctor, a best-selling author and a partner at True Food Kitchen. He promotes natural health and wellness and has interesting things to say about everything from vitamins to gardening to pets.) Though nearly everything on the True Food Kitchen menu is health-focused, this special three-course prix fixe menu offers guests nutrient-rich ingredients that help support optimal immune function and boost the body’s natural defenses against everyday stressors.
The Immune Power Menu features three signature dishes for a value-driven cost of $18 per person and is available daily from 5 p.m. to close. While each dish provides a well-rounded array of health benefits, the culinary team at True Food Kitchen ensures great-tasting fresh, seasonal flavor remains the focus. “Andy really understands how to maximize the health benefits of what we eat, and it’s my job to ensure each dish is really tasty,” said Executive Chef Michael Stebner. “The Immune Power Menu is perfect for keeping healthy this time of year or just because you’re into great-tasting food that happens to be good for you.”
