It might be a family-friendly paradise, but Gilbert moms and dads want to let loose on Fridays night, too. Here are five happy hours to try.

San Tan Village’s Blue Wasabi offers tasty sushi dishes at a fraction of the cost Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 4 to 6 p.m. Plus, menu favorites like macadamia-crusted chicken is $3.75, crab wontons are $3 and Drunken BBQ shrimp is $6. Folks make their way to Teakwoods Tavern & Grill in Gilbert to sample unique daily happy hour specials. For instance, on Moosehead Mondays, guests can enjoy half-price bottles of wine; Baja Wednesdays bring $3 house margaritas. For eats, snack on Teakwoods’ $5 nachos or wings for $6.50. Kona Grill at Gilbert’s San Tan Village offers several opportunities to take advantage of its happy hour specials: Monday through Friday, 3 to 7 p.m.; Monday through Thursday, 9-11 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 10 p.m. to 12 a.m.; and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests can enjoy a selection of well-priced starters and sushi, including potstickers, avocado egg rolls, street tacos and more. www.konagrill.com.

With any drink purchase, guests at Flancer’s–home to divine pizza and French fries–in Downtown Gilbert get to dish up the restaurant’s chicken strips, chicken and green chile fondue, boneless wings and more for just $6. Or a half-dozen wings or cheesy garlic bread are only $4 with a drink purchase. Plus, during happy hour, it is $1 off all wine, beer and spirits. At Postino East–one of the newest Gilbert restaurants–guests can sip $5 glasses of wine or pitchers of beer seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Want something yummy to go with that wine?
