Jul. 12, 2017. The Arizona Rattlers hosted a media and fan event at Talking Stick Resort Arena. The Rattlers celebrated their convincing win over the Sioux Falls Storm and the Indoor Football League United Bowl Championship title. This was the first season the Rattlers participated in the IFL. Coach Kevin Guy and his coaches essentially started from scratch with new players and new rules. Winning the Championship was a major upset against an established rival that dominated the IFL for many years.
