City you live in:  Scottsdale

I was born…

in Chandler AZ and moved to Sedona at 4 years old.  I lived in Sedona until I graduated high school and then returned to Chandler.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

I love the sunshine at all temperatures!  I’m not crazy; I prefer high’s between 75 and 90 degrees but any day that you see blue sky with sun shining is a day to smile about.

I’m listening to…

CNBC, Fox News, top 40’s music.

My family…

is a treasure I am grateful for everyday.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

Nancy Regan: Wife of a movie star and The 1st Lady of the United States would inspire many questions and I am confident would be interesting conversation.

One thing I cannot live without…

hearing “I Love You” from my husband every night before I go to sleep.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

successful.  I wanted to wear a suit and carry a briefcase to work (gave the briefcase up a few years back for the iPad).

I’m inspired by…

the parents and children we serve at Camp Soaring Eagle.

The one person who motivates me is…

Brad Larsen.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

increased tolerance and acceptance: Can’t we just all get along?

The perfect day would be…

up after 7:00, coffee, breakfast, CrossFit 2 hours later (Derek, I would love a 10 am Saturday class), poolside for an hour, nap and family dinner and game night with the kids.

My first job was…

I worked the counter at A&W at 13 years old.  I was a freshman in high school and only on Saturday, so it is not as bad as it sounds.  J

My favorite escape…

reading a current best seller in a lounge chair in my backyard with my husband in the chair next to me.

My life…

is full and happy.  I am a very lucky woman.

I’m currently working on…

my grandson’s nursery; Brantley Allen is due June 6th!  My daughter was brave enough to give me and her sister permission to design and decorate Brantley’s room.  It is locked up and the reveal will happen at the baby shower in May.

Always…

laugh and love.

Never…

give Up.

Favorite Quote…

“ We were born to succeed, not to fail”.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

people in the fast lane going the speed limit or 5 miles over; c’mon move to the right lane, it is much safer.
