City you live in: Historic Coronado ‘hood in Phoenix

I was born…

in Schnectady, New York or as my mom likes to call it : The most backwards place on earth

My favorite thing about Arizona…

living in Arizona teaches you that if you can endure 100+ degrees five months out of year, you can do anything! It gives me hope.

I’m listening to…

music nonstop. I listen to it while I make jewelry, drive, prepare dinner. We always have the tunes on. Right now I’m listening to Musak in the Discount Tire waiting room. I wonder if I can get this on cd?

My family…

is large. By large I mean tall. My father was so tall he had to duck going thru doorways. I am 6′ 2″ and I don’t play basketball, or volleyball. I know -BIG disappointment.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

someone who doesn’t scream, “I hate-(insert delicious food item here)-!” Seriously though, I would eat dinner with anyone that was paying.

One thing I cannot live without…

water, air, food, shelter … I’m only human after all! Oh, and coffee.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

shorter so I could blend into a crowd.

I’m inspired by…

money. No, actually food. I’m inspired by money for buying food.

The one person who motivates me is…

the customer. There is nothing more motivational then one of my special peeps sending a text that says, “Is my bracelet ready?”

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

anything except diapers!

The perfect day would be…

I sleep in, but not so much that I get a head ache. A large delicious coffee is delivered to me by my man-servant. I get rolled into the breakfast nook while I peruse Facebook on a wide screen tv which I control with my eyes. I comment on everyone’s posts with witty comebacks. My coffee gets topped off- but not too soon, keeping the temperature perfect for sipping. I’m already worn out, so I get rolled back to my nest-like bed for a nap.

My first job was…

delivering papers for the AZ Republic. I discovered the art of collecting the money from customers early but unfortunately never discovered the art of delivering the papers on time. What 12 year old can resist a pocket full of money when there is candy to be had?

My favorite escape….

is the bathroom window.

My life…

is pretty good! If you had asked me when I was a kid what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would have said,” I want to be drawing, making jewelry, be an art teacher PLUS I want a phone that takes pictures.”

I’m currently working on…

filling out a Q and A and wondering  if I’m setting any trends in the waiting area at Discount Tire.

Always…

be on time, except when you are running late, then blame it on the traffic.

Never…

forget to put on deodorant. Trust me on this one.

Favorite Quote…

“complimentary water for our valued customers”

Biggest Dream…

would be to have my line of jewelry in a boutique in New York, not just while I’m wearing it, but actually in the case.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

waitresses that say, “How’s everything tasting????”
