A typical day in my life includes…
waking up at 6am to make coffee, and morning playtime with our newborn daughter Aria, and our 2 year-old son, Eric. We live on a small farm with chickens and goats, and the kids help me tend to the animals. During wedding season, Eric goes to pre-school during the day and Aria watches me edit love stories (she’s learning how to edit).

My family…
is everything. I am very blessed to have amazing support from both my Mom and my Mother-in-Law. They help so much during wedding season (watching the kids on weekends, helping clean our house, home cooked meals, etc.) I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without them.

a forensic scientist. I actually attended ASU for a full year before switching my major to Broadcast Journalism. Turns out, the medical field calls for a strong stomach. Those CSI actors are truly the best. They all deserve Oscars. I hope they get paid the big bucks.

my sister. She is the ying to my yang. The blonde to my brunette. Sarah is currently pregnant with a baby girl due in April, and is attending ASU for her Masters. Oh, AND she has a one-year-old at home, too. She is such an inspiration to me daily, and one of the hardest working, most intelligent women I know. As the big sister, I thought I had to teach all the lessons, but as it turns out, all siblings can bring out something in each other. My little sister has taught me to be assertive, how to keep my head up when all I want to do is hide, and that when life get’s tough, there is a ‘@fuckjerry’ Instagram meme that will make my problem seem miniscule.

my husband. He works so hard for our family, can build anything I find on Pinterest, is the most kind man you will ever meet, and the best father in the world. He motivates me to be a better version of myself daily.
