A typical day in my life includes…
a daily battle of getting the coffee grounds into the coffee maker and not all over the kitchen floor, an hour of the TODAY show followed by time in the office, lunch meetings, coffee meetings, recording my podcast, Bad Business, scouring my favorite cooking blog for a new recipe and attempting to turn the blog’s photos into an actual meal for my husband and me.

at a time when my parents didn’t have any money, but that didn’t stop my dad from buying a new Cadillac for the sole purpose of bringing his new daughter home from the hospital.
