Kids: Together we have two busy boys, Austin & Dillin. They are 14 months apart and entering Kindergarten and 1st Grade this year. I can hardly believe we will have two kiddos in school. The time has gone by too fast!
City you live in: Anthem, Arizona
A typical day in my life includes…
getting up before everyone else in the house to enjoy a cup of coffee out by the pool with my lab, then head out the door for a run. Upon my return it’s time to feed and get the boys ready for the day (summer activities, school, camp, etc.). After everyone is off you’ll either find me at my computer answering emails and editing photos, at the studio photographing my awesome clients, keeping up to date with social media, mentoring other photographers, and… I could go on, but I won’t bore you. LOL Then it’s time to pick the kids up, do homework, cook dinner, answer some more emails, enjoy some TV with the fam and off to bed. Early to bed, early to rise!
I was born…
in Portland, Oregon, but lived just outside of Seattle, Washington for most of my life. Both beautiful states, but I think I was meant to live in Arizona.
My favorite thing about Arizona…
the sunrises and sunsets. They are like no other. This beautiful state has so much to offer.
I’m listening to…
country music. I love some good country music, new and old. My all time faves are Alabama, Clint Black and some good ol’ Johnny Cash.
My family…
is my rock. Our little family of four loves spending time together, going on trips, getting outdoors and exploring new things.
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…
my late grandmother.

my husband… and my hair straightener.
When I was younger, I wanted to be…
a teacher. I did follow my childhood dreams, got a masters in education and taught grade school for 4 years before finding my passion as a photographer.

my children, life and the beauty of the outdoors.
The one person who motivates me is…
my husband. He is pretty awesome and my #1 fan.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be…
that pie didn’t have calories. I run to eat.
The perfect day would be…
spending the day at the lake or camping with my boys and husband.
My first job was…
at a daycare. I have always loved working with children. They really make you appreciate life and see the best in things.
My favorite escape…
a good run at sunrise with my favorite tunes in my ears.

I’m currently working on…
so many things! I am the owner of Keri Meyers Photography – I get to photograph beautiful expecting mamas, teeny tiny newborns and babies up to one year. I also teach workshops to photographers all over the world on the art of newborn photography. I am also the cofounder of NewbornPhotography.com – a community connecting newborn photographers and expecting parents. When I’m not working on these two, you might find me traveling with my partner in crime, Jennifer Blakeley, photographing the newborns of celebrities.
