A typical day in my life includes…

I start the day off right with a Daily Burn workout, a cup of coffee and a healthy breakfast. Although I see my sister everyday, we typically call or text in the a.m. just to say hi – odd I know. I then head to Bodify – our day is filled with meeting new individuals who are interested in CoolSculpting, reviewing before and after photos with clients who have already done the procedure and treating new clients. Over the last year, we have gained so much recognition from CoolSculpting and other CoolSculpting providers that many offices will send their key staff in to shadow us for a few days and learn how to get better client outcomes and successfully build their CoolSculpting practice. After we wrap up, I head home or go to my boyfriend’s house and unwind with a Netflix show, good conversation and maybe a glass of wine!

I was born…

in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

the fall. I love when the temperature starts to drop, and I can move my Daily Burn workouts out of the house and into nature! Nothing is more fun than sending my mom (who is still in Steamboat) photos of me in shorts in October and November. She will send photos back, and the town is covered in white!

I’m listening to…

any music that makes me get up and dance is on my playlist. I love to move and think there is magic in music. Crazy how depending on my mood, a certain song just resonates with me like never before. Although I’m not particularly religious, I only listen to KLOVE in my car. It is fun, upbeat, positive, has a great message and is not filled with commercials. The world is filled with naysayers and negativity, and I love that this station focuses on positive and uplifting stories.

My family…

it is the biggest blessing for me to work with my sister. She is one of the most remarkable humans on the planet. Her drive, passion, generosity and character astound me. My mom and I talk frequently; she grew up in a less than loving environment, and I find it amazing that she chose a different path and raised three girls in a safe, fun, respectful, loving and compassionate home! My dad recently moved to AZ and it’s been so fun to have him in our neck of the woods. He often pops over for a quick dinner or to share a bottle of wine (he is the resident wino in our family). I’m amazed at his drive and work ethic I can honestly say I have never heard my dad complain, he just gets things done. He and my mom are so supportive of Bodify and without them, it never would have happened. They both owned small businesses and my sisters and I all learned a tremendous amount from them about what it takes to run a business, offer value, and keep your clients happy while still making money. Kim, my younger sister, is in Colorado and is a horse fanatic and has the best massage hands on the planet. We don’t get to see her near as often as we would like because her clients book her 4-6 months out! I’m so unbelievably proud of her for following her passion and finding a way to run a business, ride her horse and be in a positive and loving marriage!

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

Warren Buffet. What a remarkable businessman and investor. I love what he has built and find him extremely intelligent, generous, and wise. I would pick his brain about so many things.

One thing I cannot live without…

my daily workout. I have Type 1 Diabetes, and from a very early age I was told, keep your body in motion and eat well and you will really set yourself up well. Working out clears my mind, gets me going in the a.m. and just makes me feel great in my own skin. We grew up being very active, and I’m so grateful that my parents stressed exercise and healthy eating – it’s served me well.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

I’m pretty sure I told my mom, “I’m going to college and going to graduate and be a CEO of a major computer corporation.” She had to set me straight and let me know that most likely I would not land that job the day after graduation. Darn!

I’m inspired by…

mothers. Every time a mom comes in, I show respect. Not only do most of our female clients have kiddos and husbands, they are professionals, they work out, they have friends, they are active in the community. I just don’t know how they get it all done with a smile on their face and gas still left in the tank. I think women have untapped reserves that come out when needed. I always say I have a hard enough time taking care of me, how does a mom do it all?

The one person who motivates me is…

Kelly Ritchie is a mentor I had and interacted with frequently, although our interactions are less frequent (he went back to Australia), I can tell you he crosses my mind nearly every day and I continually hear his support, guidance, and wisdom in my ear. When I started out in business coaching I knew nothing, but he told me, you have what it takes, it’ll be tough, but I’m here to help you. He has never once let me down; I feel like he sees me for everything I can be and inspires me to be that. If I could attribute my success to one person – Kelly Ritchie would get it. Just a loving, wonderful, brilliant man with a heart of gold.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

selfishly, I want a cure for Type 1 Diabetes because it impacts me every day and although I am happy and healthy I would love to have a pancreas that works. On a larger scale, I wish people could tap into the understanding that you can create the life you want, and what others are doing does not impact you unless you let it. If you stay true to who you are and what you want and don’t waiver in your positive beliefs and actions, you can have it. I truly feel the world is abundant and if you tap into that, possibilities are endless. I am a huge believer in the phrase “feelings become thoughts, thoughts become words, words become reality.” So every thought I think and every statement I make, I have a choice “is this moving me in the direction I want or is it creating a block and allowing something I’m not looking for in my life to show up?”

The perfect day would be…

hands down, waking up without an alarm clock. Regardless if it goes off at 7 a.m. or 10 a.m., I don’t want it! Any day that starts off like that is bound to be incredible.

My first job was…

my sister and I had a scrunchy business. My parents bought me a sewing machine (I had to pay them back with money from sales) and invested in initial materials. I sold those things like hot cakes!

My favorite escape…

a cabin, solitude, just trees, wind, and silence.

My life…

is pretty damn fantastic and I love that I have the power to create it.

I’m currently working on…

a new platform for CoolSculpting providers so they can gain access to the things Bodify does and has learned that make us successful. We feel there is enough fat for us all to win, so why not share what works, what doesn’t, and other best business and treatment practices.

Always…

be grateful. The more grateful I am, the more wonderful things show up.

Never…

blame. This serves no one and if I’m blaming that means someone else is in control of making me feel how I feel and I’m not ok with that. The choice about how I feel and react and respond is ALWAYS up to me.

Favorite Quote…

“That which is like unto itself is drawn.” Meaning, my thoughts emit vibrations and those vibrations attract similar vibrations. So if it is to be, it’s up to me! I create my life!

Biggest Dream…

have a successful business that actually brings value to its clients and to build a life with a man. I am whole and complete on my own, and also believe that for me, life is enhanced greatly with the right partner.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

people who don’t take responsibility for their lives, spew negativity or in general lack an attitude of gratitude.
