How The Dump Does It

o

With eleven locations across the country, The Dump prizes itself as a unique furniture shopping experience. With a one of a kind approach to business, The Dump is able to offer items at lower costs than their declared competitors.

Operating without ritzy showrooms and sales staff, it’s all about the furniture they say.

What started in Virginia as a clearance center for its parent company, Haynes Furniture, the concept grew and soon The Dump was born. As the company spread to other areas of the country, The Dump was able to find their niche identity. They’ve committed to only operating three days a week, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and to cutting out all the extras that can go into furniture shopping.

Overstocks, one-of-a-kinds, sell-outs, models, and prototypes are generally the type of furniture they acquire for considerably less. They don’t focus much on advertising or real estate and are able to grab the best brand names. They recommend shopping Friday mornings when they open for the best selection, as it constantly changes each week.

They offer all different types of items from bedroom furniture, to rugs, entertainment consoles, mattresses, and dining room and living room furniture.

Take a peek at the only location in Arizona at 1345 W. Elliot Rd. Tempe, Arizona 85282. Their hours are Friday 10-9, Saturday 10-9, and Sunday 11-7. To browse their selection or to learn more about them, visit their website at www.thedump.com.
