Inspectress Gadget: The Samsung Focus- Clear as a Crystal

Reviewing a ton of different smart phones has taught me that they’re like diamonds. You very rarely find an absolutely perfect one, and have to sometimes choose what is most important to you: screen resolution, operating system, keyboard-(or color, clarity, carats, if we’re talking diamonds).

Inspectress Gadget: The LG Quantum- Not For Slow People

If there’s one thing I can’t deal with, it’s slow people. People who you have to explain everything to, people who ask you to send them an address they could have easily Googled themselves, people who can’t do a Facebook search. I don’t like being asked questions. Figure it out yourself! </rant>

Inspectress Gadget: The HTC Surround- Pass the Popcorn, There’s a Theatre in My Pocket!

Times, they are a changin’.  Long gone are the days of stuffy phone operating systems, weird commands, task managers and whatever else it was we didn’t like about Microsoft Windows phones. Because Windows Phone 7? Is awesome.

There’s a movie theatre- in your pants pocket.

While the Inspectress Gadget loves almost all aspects of gadgetry, there is still one hurdle that grinds my gears- stumbling into zones in our mountainous Valley with limited signal strength. No matter what your carrier, there are places where no satellite or cell tower could even dream of reaching.

Funnily enough, some of the places with the spottiest coverage are where the most luxurious neighborhoods are. I have pals whose Paradise Valley and North Scottsdale homes are cell-free zones. There's nothing lamer than not being able to use your cool tool or-gasp-using a landline. What are we, dinosaurs? Is this 1991?

Inspectress Gadget: The HTC Aria- Tiny and Adorable

Some of us were born with big bones. And although we have gotten used to it, it can still sting to shop with our petite friends. What must it feel like to be tiny? To zip up a size 25 pair of jeans? Guess we’ll never know when it comes to clothes, but the HTC Aria from AT&T can make us feel tinier and more confident, that’s for sure.

Just like the cheerleaders you envied in high school, it’s lightweight and compact.
