Game on.  It's the first ever Gonzo vs. Gambo dodge-ball tourney, and you can play on the celebrity teams.  Here's how you can get in the holiday spirit in an athletic sort-of way.

It’s on.  Local celebs are taking their competition to the court—a unique court, in this case.  On Tuesday, November 29th, D-Backs legend Luis Gonzales and radio host John Gambadoro are heading a pre-December Dodge-ball Tournament benefitting the 100 Club of Arizona.  However, this tourney has a twist…it’s being held at Scottsdale’s AZ Air Time, an indoor trampoline park.

It’s the first annual Gonzo vs. Gambo Tournament, and both guys are hosting dodge-ball teams.  Joining them as rival team captains include Gambo’s KTAR co-host Dave Burns, ABC-15’s Andi Barness, CBS-5’s/AZFoothills.com's Nadine Toren (yep, that’s me!), and 3TV’s Britney Shipp.  But we all need your help.

You can play on a celebrity-led team by making a $100 donation to the 100 Club, an organization special to the Valley.  The non-profit has been supporting local heroes for over 40 years, providing TLC to families of public safety officers and firefighters injured or killed in the line of duty.  Whatever the need--financial, advisory, or moral support, the 100 Club of Arizona is there to help.

But you don’t have to play on a team to get in on the fun.  Admission is a mere $5, and all the proceeds go directly to the 100 Club.  And trust me, the action will be quite entertaining.  AZ Air Time features 25,000 square feet of activity space: a 5,000 square foot trampoline, the state’s largest foam pit, dodge-ball courts, basketball courts, and bounce houses.

In addition to watching us get our game on, you might walk away a lucky winner!  There will be a handful of prizes up for grabs in a fundraising raffle.

The tourney kicks off its yearly tradition because ‘tis the season to give.  The owners of AZ Air Time jumped at the chance to team up with Gonzo and Gambo, in an effort to give back to our community.

So, do you have what it takes to battle it out on the court with Gonzo & Gambo? Team slots are limited, so reserve your spot ASAP!
