Makeup has always been a must-have in society.  In fact, around 10,000 BCE, the Ancient Egyptians were developing almost every kind of cosmetic that we would use today.  To them, looking attractive was the best way to get close to the gods.

I’ve always been intrigued by the art of makeup, although I still haven’t perfected my talent.  And as a wife, mom and working gal, I hardly have time to try to cultivate a new skill. I apply my own makeup on most regular days, although I’ve always opted to work with a makeup artist for special occasions and work events.

In the “olden days,” I was a regular at makeup counters at Scottsdale Fashion Square, and then became loyal to the Blow Dry Bars when they took over the Valley.  Today, I am thrilled to report that I have found “the one”, my must-have makeup guru and friend, Cortney Ann – aka Cortney Ann Makeup.

Cortney has expertly applied my makeup for photo shoots, TV appearances and events. On any given day, Cortney Ann skillfully transforms my look, ultimately boosting my confidence and eliminating the hassle of doing my own makeup.
