The Phoenix area boasts a few renowned tea events through the year, and Easter time now has a new celebration with a special outdoor tea party for young guests and their parents at The Phoenician. This year will be the first year of Phoe-Phoe’s Afternoon Tea Party, a charming version of The Phoenician’s traditional tea offering, which is being held on Saturday, April 4th, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Although the famed Easter Bunny will be making stops at many spots through town, The Phoenician is definitely a place to celebrate the holiday and make long-lasting family memories. Phoe-Phoe’s Afternoon Tea Party offers kid-friendly finger sandwiches, scones and an assortment of desserts that both tots and adults will adore. Kids will receive a plush bunny Phoe-Phoe, the resort’s signature mascot, and a copy of its latest children’s book, Fun at The Phoenician with Phoe-Phoe & Friends. Local Scottsdale couple, author Emily Randolph and photographer/illustrator Dan Merchant, will be on hand to sign copies of the book and read to the children. Joining them will be one of the stars of the story, Lady, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
Reservations are required. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Price is $45 per person. The resort suggests calling (480) 423-2530 to reserve your tea time. For additional details, visit www.thephoenician.com.
