Put on your best Hawaiian hula costume and bring the family to Salt River this Saturday! Festivities include a costume contest, limbo contest and hula-hoop contests. Free tubing passes are awarded to the best dressed! Salt River Tubing 

4th Annual Brazilian Day in Scottsdale

(Saturday, September 7th 12:30pm to 6:00pm)

Join in a fun-filled afternoon and celebrate Brazilian Day at the Scottsdale Center of Performing Arts. This all-ages event is a great way for the entire family to experience the Brazilian culture with live Brazilian bands, DJ’s, dancers, performers, martial arts, hands-on activities, authentic food, drinks and much more. Admission for kids is $5, $10 for Adults (11 years and older).  Brazilian Day

Teddy Bear Day

7 Sept Teddy Bear Day in Glendale

(Saturday, September 7th 10:00am to 4:00pm)

Downtown Glendale celebrates Teddy Bear Day on Saturday, Sept. 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and participants will be encouraged to donate a new (12 inch or less) Teddy Bear to the Glendale Fire Department’s Trauma Teddy Program. Make-and-take arts and crafts, special treats and exclusive deals will also be offered throughout Historic Downtown Glendale. Teddy Bear Day 

 

Food Truck Caravan

Come and relax, enjoy a hip urban vibe and enjoy some of the best street food in the Valley. A rotation of up to eight gourmet food trucks will be on hand each week. Providing guests with a wide range of gourmet food from around the world including farm fresh food with a twist, Southern comfort food, organic sliders, curries, Dutch-Indonesian stay and classic dinner cuisine, to name a few. And, of course, they will have a dessert truck in the line-up serving a variety of sweets from artisan ice cream to fresh baked pies and pastries. Food Truck Caravan
