Flip Dunk Sports is one of my hands-down favorite places to take my kids during the summer. Not only is it one of the cleanest indoor facilities in town, it’s fun for kids of all ages.

 

Designed by our own Phoenix Suns’ Gorilla, who pioneered the infamous “Flip Dunk”, Flip Dunk Sports is literally floor to ceiling trampolines, bungee trampolines and tumble tracks with basketball hoops. What more could a kid want?  This place is amazing!

Malarie Woolf, wife to the Phoenix Suns’ Gorilla, opens up about their one-of-a-kind facility and recreational experience.

Q: When and why did you and your husband decide to open Flip Dunk?

A: We opened almost 2 years ago but started the planning and design about 3 years before that. The entire facility was created and designed by the Gorilla. We combined everything the 2 of us have done our whole lives and came up with this high-flying combo of trampoline park, gymnastics/dance/cheer center.

Q: What makes your facility different from anything else in the Valley?

A: We are the only place that offers everything and of course we were designed by the Gorilla.

Q: Do you plan on opening any other locations?

A: Yes, a few more are in the works!

Q: How often does the Gorilla make appearances?

A: Pretty often, he likes jumping around; He also makes special appearances in summer camps.

Q: What is your favorite part about running Flip Dunk Sports?

A: Being a part of our community is huge. We love having a facility where families can all hang out and have fun no matter what the ages are.
