Mexican Tissue Paper Flowers
One of the traditions of Cinco De Mayo is making colorful flowers. These pom-pom style flowers are super popular and widely used for decorating kids rooms, birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers and weddings alike. I've even seen this same method used when making flower accent pillows in a little girl's room (which is on my mile long to-do list). First Palette probably has one of the easiest to follow tutorials on the internet. All you need is tissue paper, sissors, pipe cleaners and dowel rods or sticks if you want to incorporate stems.
