It's already the last weekend of February! Can you believe it? There are some great events for your family this weekend and upcoming week. Airplanes, horses and cowboys abound!
Scottsdale: Love horses? Check out the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show. This event has been around since 1955, and has grown from 50 horses attending to 2400!! There's sure to be something to please at this beautiful family friendly event. This event is held at Westworld, and runs through Sunday, February 26th. Tickets range from $7-$25, with children under 12 free during the day. There's a Family Free Night on Sunday after 3pm with shopping, dining, and more!
Scottsdale: Looking for a fun lazy Sunday activity? Wander around the Scottsdale Street Fair, at Indian Bend and 101 at the Pavilions at Talking Stick Resort. Browse the farmers market, find some new arts and crafts, and watch the street performers! Sundays from 10am-4pm.
Casa Grande: Check out the amazing Ranch Rodeo this weekend at Cowboy and Indian Days in Casa Grande! There will be family entertainment with music, authentic chuck wagon food, pony express, and shooters!! This event is sponsored by the Pinal County Mounted Sheriff's Posse, and all events take place at the Ed Hooper Rodeo Grounds.
Scottsdale: Keep those kiddos brains active during spring break! Bueno Burger Mex American Grill in Scottsdale will be hosting "Wednesday Study Hall" starting this upcoming Wednesday, February 29th. From 3pm-430pm, kids and their parents can relax in the comfort of Scottsdale's Bueno Burger and enjoy lemonade and treats! What a great way to stay on track during spring break. Bueno Burger is at: 6977 N. Hayden Road in Scottsdale.
Buckeye: Do your kids love aircraft? Check out the Buckeye Air Fair, Saturday February 25th, from 9am-3pm. They'll have aviation demonstrations, lots of aircraft to look at, helicopter and hot air balloon rides, raffles, kids games, food and many vendors! Admission is free, but they are accepting donations of diapers and formula to support the Buckeye Diaper and Formula Bank. Find the Air Fair at the Buckeye Municipal Airport - take the I-10 to exit 109 and head south!
Apache Junction: Lost Dutchman Days. Check out another fun Rodeo in Apache Junction! There will be a family friendly carnival with over 30 rides, a parade at 9am on Saturday, February 25th in downtown Apache Junction, an arts and crafts fair, as well as food and several rodeos over both Saturday and Sunday!
