Westgate Firework Fest

Celebrate the 4th of July at the Westgate Firework Fest at the Westgate Entertainment District. The event kicks off at 5 p.m. Bring over some blankets, lawn chairs and some snacks to relax and listen to live music on two stages. The completely free event is full of activities from a water-zone, to face painting for the kids, to a beer garden for the adults. There will be non-stop entertainment filling the night as well as plenty restaurants open all over for a delicious Fourth meal. Come and finish off the night under the stars with a firework show lighting up the sky starting at 9 p.m.

Great American 4th (pictured)

Finish off your patriotic holiday events at the Copper Sky Regional Park in Maricopa. Starting at 6 p.m., the live music and entertainment will start with continued performances throughout the night featuring the popular band and musical headliner, Outside the Line. There will also be a massive kids zone featuring carnival games, bounce houses, and inflatable slides. At 9 p.m., the Mayor will speak followed by recognition of all of our local veterans. You will want to stay because right after will be the spectacular fireworks show you will not want to miss. 

4th of Zooly

To twist up the holiday this year you may want to head on over to the Phoenix Zoo for their take with the 4th of Zooly. The family-fun event begins at 7 p.m. including a catered BBQ dinner. After dinner you can stroll over to hangout at Stingray Bay where there will be live entertainment, animal encounters, and free carousel rides. At 9 p.m. gather to the back of the Zoo for a VIP viewing of the Tempe Town Lake Fireworks Spectacular show. Purchase tickets online now.

Hero Appreciation at Wet ‘n’ Wild

Celebrate the 4th of July with a summertime cool down! Wet n’ Wild in Phoenix will be celebrating the season with fireworks and fun. Head on over to enjoy the water park and hang out for the day against the summer heat. The park will have a very special fireworks show, which you can enjoy from the water starting at 8:45 p.m. The water park is opening up to completely free admission to all service men and women and first responders as well as 50 percent off of tickets for up to six family members. Cool down this holiday season with a splashing patriotic flair.

4th of July Freedom Fest (pictured)

The Fairmount Scottsdale Princess will be holding it 7th annual 4th of July Freedom Fest. The event starts at 4:45 p.m. with a vintage air show featuring 30 vintage military aircrafts flown by retired veterans. Kids will be able to meet and speak with veterans and watch a military parachutist fly down from the skies with an American flag in hand. Live music will be playing all night featuring the band MJ Live, a Michael Jackson tribute band, covering all of the superstar’s hits. At 9 p.m., the firework show begins, that will be sure to light up the star-spangled evening.

Tempe Town Lake Festival

Head on over to Tempe to get a firework show with a lakeside view! Gates will open at 5 p.m. featuring one of the  best fireworks show in the Valley. The night will be full of live music with a brief intermission of a playing of the National Anthem by the City of Tempe Color Guard. Food vendors and an inflatable kids fest will also be available for an evening the entire family can enjoy. The Fireworks Spectacular show will begin at 9:15 p.m. over the scenic view of Tempe Town Lake. 

All-American Festival

Take a trip on down to Peoria’s Sports Complex for the All-American Festival. The night starts at 5 p.m. filled with family-friendly activities. Stay busy before the fireworks going to the Water zone or join in on special events like the corn hole tournament. Free music and vendors will take care of dinner so you can relax and watch the fireworks show beginning at 9:15 p.m. Make sure to head over early so you can grab that explosive view of one of the best fireworks shows.

Hometown 4th of July

Come celebrate the 4th at Schnepf Farms with their Hometown 4th of July event. The gates open at 4 p.m. Expect an evening filled with water games, food trucks, a petting zoo, and an outdoor movie. The fireworks will begin at 8:30 p.m. Part of all the proceeds towards tickets will benefit the Queen Creek Performing Arts Center. You can purchase tickets online now. 

Star Spangled 4th

Celebrate the day at an old American pastime, the Goodyear Ballpark for its Star Spangled 4th.  The event begins at 6 p.m. with a good old Nathan’s hot dog-eating contest, to inflatable water slides, to live music by the Groove Merchants. A 20-minute spectacular fireworks show will begin approximately around 9 p.m. Spend the night on the ball field for the Independence celebration. Parking and admission is free.

Fabulous Phoenix 4th

Come experience one of the largest fireworks displays in the Southwest at the 32nd annual Fabulous Phoenix 4th. The free and non-alcoholic event will be held at the Steele-Indian School Park. The celebration will feature two stages of international recording artists, a variety of festival-style food vendors, a car show, a kids zone, and much more. The event is expecting up to 100,000 people so head over early to get a good spot for the fireworks show which will begin around 9:30 p.m. 

Scottsdale’s 4th of July Celebration at Westworld (pictured)

Returning for the fourth year in a row is Scottsdale’s 4th of July Celebration at Westworld. The event begins at 3 p.m. with entertainment available to all ages. Located completely indoors and air-conditioned, the celebration will include everything from a mini Ferris wheel, to pony rides, to hot dog-eating competitions. After having your fill of air-conditioned events, head outside at 9 p.m. to the polo field located Westworld to experience a fireworks show against the backdrop of the beautiful McDowell Mountains.
