Sweet 18

Arizona Foothills Magazine was started back in 1997 with one mission: to provide outstanding reader service and give back to our community. Eighteen years later, we have become the authority in the Valley providing everything that is all about substance, style and sophistication.

We will celebrate 20 years in 21 months, so we decided over the next 21 months to select one person that serves this community the way we intended to serve it when we published the very first issue back in May 1997. This individual will share with us a day in their life, what it is like to be them and a message to you, the reader. We want to feature people who are as passionate about life and the beautiful state of Arizona as we are. This, by far, is the very best place to live in the world and continues to grow with excitement.

The Super Bowl will once again showcase us to the world and attract more visitors who will fall in love with Arizona. I moved to Arizona 20 years ago and knew this was my home forever, and it is the Best Place to Live for me and my family. I am thankful for all the friends I have gained over the years. The best thing about being a publisher is the ability to give back, support and love everyone!

This September will introduce our first guest publisher, Pastor Travis Hearn of Impact Church. He is a man on a mission to make things happen for many people in the Valley who have lost their belief in faith. He is in charge of one of the fastest-growing churches in the United States. When churches are losing followers, Pastor Travis and his incredible team have something special going on every Sunday. The music, the message and the people make it what it is, and it is all about #Faith, #Hope and #Love. Enjoy his message on the next page, and we welcome nominations for future guest publishers. We want to feature different people of all ages, races and beliefs. That is what makes this the very Best Place to Live.

If you know anyone or if it is you that we should consider, please e-mail me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , follow us for the latest updates on @AZFoothillsMag on Twitter and @AZFoothills on Instagram. Life in Arizona is only getting better and that is because we live among some of the brightest people in the world. I am thankful and grateful to get to meet these people each and every day. It is a true blessing and my purpose in life is to feature these people and give back.

Enjoy this issue, and I look forward to connecting very soon!
