The Arizona Women’s Board has recently granted over $400,000 to six local nonprofits. The nonprofits were chosen based on their alignment with the Board’s mission to prevent kidney disease and improve the quality of life for Arizona kidney patients.

Desert Foundation Auxiliary Holds 56th Annual Luncheon

Desert Foundation Auxiliary (DFA), a 501(c)3 founded in 1965, held its 56th Annual Luncheon to elect its 2022-23 Board of Directors February 2nd at Paradise Valley Country Club.

Southern Heart Ball Campaign Raises $750K

Tucson, AZ, March 30, 2022 — The American Heart Association, the world’s leading nonprofit organization focused on heart and brain health for all, is proud to announce the Heart of Southern Arizona annual campaign raised more than $750,000! This campaign culminated in the Southern Arizona Heart Ball on Saturday, March 19 at the Westin La Paloma Resort. Anthony and Emily Schaefer chaired the 2021-22 campaign. Anthony leads the renowned real estate group The Schaefer Team at Long Realty Company and Emily is a Registered Nurse at Haven Hospice. Because of their incredible volunteer leadership, the Schaefers surpassed their goal of raising $650,000 to support the lifesaving work of the American Heart Association.

The Children’s Museum of Phoenix Presents the 2022 SandFest & Adult’s-Only Beach Party

The Children’s Museum of Phoenix is holding its annual Phoenix SandFest fundraiser this week on March 25 and 26. 

The event will raise money to benefit the Every Child Program, a cause created by the museum to provide free admission and rich-learning experiences to low-income or at-risk children and families.

Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central and Northern Arizona (RMHCCNAZ) will host its FORE the House Golf Tournament on Monday, April 25, 2022, at Papago Golf Club in Phoenix. The crucial funds raised during this year’s tournament will support RMHCCNAZ’s mission of providing a “home-away-from-home” for families who travel to the Valley seeking critical medical care for their children by providing nights of comfort and rest at no charge.
