Fabulosity by Corbin Chamberlin
Wendy Brandes
Interesting, rule-breaking and ultra-original best describes the jewelry and personal style of Wendy Brandes.
Teen Vogue’s Fashion Market Editor, Mary Kate Steinmiller
Since its launch in 2003, Teen Vogue has been violently successful. Perhaps it’s been the support and governing shadow from its bigger sister-magazine, Vogue and its editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour. All the same, Teen Vogue has become a critical accompaniment for the chic and fashion-driven teen.
Closet Case: Emily Graham
Fox 10’s Emily Graham perfectly defines her style as “East Coast girl meets the desert, with a dash of glam and global influence.” Even with a ultra-demanding job at one of the top news stations in the Valley, Graham perceivers in Prabal Gurung and totes a Hermes Birkin. Graham thinks no one should be without a black tuxedo, pair of grey pumps and a go-to dress in their closet. I collect Graham’s thoughts on style and fashion.
Fabulosity: Fashion’s Next Generation
Too often when I go to a local fashion show, I’m shown garbage. Lacking in talent, passion and an obvious need for education. This was not the case when I attended the East Valley Institute of Technology’s annual fashion show last week. I assessed the collections of the second year students. I was in good company as I sat next to Robert Black, Duc Liao, Joy Li and Jill Laine as well as other industry pros who acted as judges during the show. With a mind-blowing runway of about 130 feet and an audience of 680 zealous guests, the 15- to 18-year-old students showed incredible garments.

Fabulosity: A Few Words with Shareen Mitchell of Planet Green’s “Dresscue Me”
The network, Plant Green has introduced a new series called Dresscue Me, a show that seems free of televised-gloss, bitchy antics and a seemingly sensible approach to the industry of fashion. Dresscue Me is about the endeavors of vintage-maverick, Shareen Mitchell. Mitchell is owner of Shareen Vintage, a boutique that offers reasonably priced and preowned clothing. The store is a favorite for fashionistas, recessionistas and celebrities alike. Before she was dressing Katy Perry, Cat Deeley and a plethora of other A-listers, Shareen was an actress and partook in roles on Melrose Place, ER and Judging Amy.
