Southern California's Tavern+Bowl will make its Arizona debut in March with a new location at Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale. With four California locations throughout San Diego County and Orange County, Tavern+Bowl redefines the traditional bowling experience for today’s lifestyle. Featuring premier lanes, prime spirits, choice brewing, and gourmet dishes from their scratch kitchen, Tavern+Bowl appeals to every demographic with its unparalleled versatility, providing the perfect locale for birthday parties, mixers, corporate events, holiday parties and other social occasions.

"As iStar embarked on the Entertainment District strategic plan, the two linchpin elements to be co-anchors with our already thriving AMC Theaters, were Dave & Busters and a cutting-edge bowling and restaurant center. We have studied bowling concepts in many states and selected Tavern+Bowl as the ideal fit for Westgate,” says David Sotolov, executive vice president and head of West Coast investments for iStar.

Located adjacent to Yard House and just steps away from the newly opened Bar Louie, construction on the 18,243-sq.-ft. space is slated to begin this month, with an anticipated opening in March. Tavern+Bowl will feature 12 state-of-the-art bowling lanes, an on-site microbrewery featuring their proprietary GBU beer, a full restaurant, billiards tables, shuffleboard, a large outdoor patio overlooking Fountain Park, and an indoor/outdoor bar with roll-up garage doors.

“We completed the new Dave & Busters building and they opened in November 2015. Now, Tavern+Bowl will combine the West Valley’s first true in-house microbrewery alongside their high-energy bowling environment, adding a great new dimension to our already compelling tenant roster," says Jeff Teetsel, development manager of Westgate Entertainment District.
