Western Refining in Tempe is holding a water drive for the Valley's homeless population from now until July 22 to collect cases of water for A New Leaf, a local nonprofit organization that provides a broad spectrum of support services to help individuals and families in crisis.

The drive will conclude on Friday, July 22 at 8 a.m. at Western Refining’s Tempe office, located at 1250 W. Washington Street, Ste. 101.  Western Refining employees will present A New Leaf with the donated water during this event. Last year, the company collected more than 1,000 cases of water and is hoping to collect even more this year.  The donated water will go to individuals and families in A New Leaf’s homeless and transitional housing shelters and those affected by the heat. Last year, A New Leaf helped 21,140 individuals and families through the organization’s 20 programs spanning the East and West Valley.
