Sunday, July 12 through July 30, Valley Famous Dave's locations hosts the Back to School Supply Drive to benefit Southwest Human Development.

People can drop off new items at any of the four Valley Famous Dave's locations, at the Arizona Republic or Southwest Human Development during normal business hours. As a special incentive during this school supply drive, anyone who not only donates supplies, but also a new, book-size backpack at one of the Valley Famous Dave's locations will receive a voucher for a free Georgia Chopped Pork sandwich. (One per person.)

Items needed: backpacks, spiral notebooks, pencil box, scissors, glue sticks, pencils and pens, colored pencils, filler paper, crayons, one-inch binders, pocket folders,   rulers and dictionary.

There are four Famous Dave’s restaurants in the Valley: Chandler at 3250 West Frye Rd.; Peoria at 16148 North 83rd Ave., SanTan Village in Gilbert at 2206 E Williams Field Rd. and Mesa Riverview in Mesa at 1011 Dobson Rd.
