The Super Bowl is over and it’s time to turn the attention to a different kind of showdown. The Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale Rugby Bowl: Beauty & The Beast is known for exciting matches and now, for the first time, an exclusive fashion show.

The second-year event has been relocated to Scottsdale Stadium on Saturday, April 18. Go from rugby to runway at 2:30 p.m. for a one-of-a-kind “Warning Track” Fashion Show, featuring a unique production by Phoenix Fashion Week. After emerging from the dugout in shorter springtime attire, models will traverse the entire baseball warning track around the spring training home of the World Series Champion San Francisco Giants for prime viewing.

“The Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale Rugby Bowl is one of the biggest rugby events in the country, and Phoenix Fashion Week is excited to be part of such an exciting event,” said Brian Hill, Phoenix Fashion Week Executive Director. “We have something very special in store for all the spectators, and we know the audience will enjoy it.”

The best scrum of the day is sure to be the battle between the nationally ranked ASU Sun Devils and the former Big Ten champion Ohio State Buckeyes at 3:00 pm. The USC Trojans are set to go head-to-head against the GCU Antelopes, in an exciting match that is scheduled for 1:00 pm. The day will open at 11:00 am, with Arizona’s High School Rugby Championship, which will feature the best of the best when it comes to local high school teams.

Before the matches commence, fans will have the opportunity to meet, and even challenge Travis “the Beast” Bagent, the most recognized arm in the sport of competitive arm wrestling right at home plate of the stadium.
