Dec. 6: Cyclerides.com and Westgate Entertainment District have teamed up for a holiday toy drive to help children in need this season at Westgate’s Fountain Park. Cyclerides.com, the event producer of Westgate's Bike Night, which draws close to 2,000 motorcycle enthusiasts, invites guests to ride out and bring toys to benefit the Children’s First Academy for homeless children. Guests who attend will also be able to enjoy Westgate’s holiday entertainment, a magic show and more. The event is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Toys and donations will benefit the Children’s First Academy. There will be a magic show and holiday entertainment.

Through Dec. 20: The Village Health Clubs & Spas are hosting a donation drive for pets in need this holiday season. Drop off your pet blankets, food, towels, pillows  at all four Village Health Clubs to support Home Fur Good, a no-kill shelter which cares for and helps find permanent homes for animals otherwise slated for euthanasia.  In addition, the Village and Home Fur Good will be accepting new or gently used DVDs and CDs which will be sold to support Home Fur Good.  

Through Dec. 20: The tree lighting ceremony on Nov. 20 kicks off the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess’ toy drive for Toys for Tots with the Scottsdale Fire Department. Local residents can pull right up to the Toys for Tots box at the front drive/porte-cochere, where a bellman is happy to assist with their donation.
