Scottsdale, Ariz. – Steve LeVine Entertainment & Public Relations (SLE) and Disco Donnie Presents (DDP), bring two-time Grammy nominated Morgan Page to Māyā Day + Nightclub on Sunday, September 15, located at 7333 E. Indian Plaza in Scottsdale, AZ. Doors open at 11 a.m. and the event is 21 years and older.
Hailing from Burlington, VT, Morgan Page got his start in electronic dance music as a radio DJ for the University of Vermont’s WRUV 90.1 FM while still in high school. Since 1999, he has produced three full-length albums and over 130 remixes. Page transfers pop energy to the dance floor and has remixed artists such as Madonna’s “Miles Away,” Katy Perry’s “I Kissed A Girl” and La Roux’s “Bulletproof,” to name a few. He has received several accolades including a 2009 Grammy nomination for Deadmau5’s remix of Page’s “The Longest Road,” a 2011 nomination for his remix of Nadia Ali’s “fantasy” and three International Dance Music Award (IDMA) nominations. Rolling Stone said Page’s recent hit a rework of The Outfield’s 1986 “You’re Love,” is “backed by a booming, club-ready beat for an exciting new sound.”
Morgan Page recently announced his self-titled tour: “Morgan Page Presents.” This will be his first official tour following the successful “In the Air” tour with over 35 sold out shows, over 500,000 digital tracks sales in the US and Canada and resulted in SiriusXM inviting Morgan to host his own weekly show. The acclaimed DJ and producer will release his first commercial compilation to be titled “Morgan Page Presents,” to coincide with the tour. The compilation will feature Morgan Page’s original material and remixes along with new tracks from the participating artists on the tour. This will be Page’s second performance at Māyā Day + Nightclub after his debut at the venue for the “Cinco de Maya” pool party on May 5, 2013.
Joining Page will be Project 46 and Walden. Canadian progressive house duo Thomas Shaw and Ryan Henderson, known as Project 46, have vaulted from your average club DJ’s to ranking in DJ Mag’s Top 100 since teaming in 2011. Together they have produced three No. 1 hits atop Hype Machine, two No. 1 hits on Beatport’s Top 10 Best Overall Tracks, and a No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Top 100 Dance Chart.
Australian DJ and producer Walden ranked 65 among all electronic dance artists just a few weeks after appearing on ReverbNation.com and subsequently signed with Big Beat Records. In 2012, songs from his debut EP “Brightness” were played on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 Mix generating support from major artists such as Tiësto, Afrojack, Morgan Page and more. Walden’s latest release is a bootleg remix of Knife Party’s “LRAD” and has already received nearly 35 thousand plays on SoundCloud.
