Do you remember 1975? The Fonz and his antics were hot on Happy Days and bell bottoms with shiny shirts were what you hustled to. How about 1985? Legwarmers and lace gloves was what you hit the dance floor wearing as you danced the night way to Duran Duran, Dire Straits and Tears For Fears. The Venue Scottsdale and Eva 95.5 are giving you a chance to relive those days with Boogie Nights " a recurring theme party that merges 70s and 80s dance music spinning from Eva"s very own DJ Pauly. Guests are encouraged to dress in their best attire from either era.
The Venue Scottsdale will host their 4th retro event on September 7th that runs from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. and reoccurs every 6 weeks. There will be a $15 general admission cover which will include costume contests, drink specials, a photo booth, and a really far out time. VIP experience and reserved tables are also available. All tickets can be purchased at www.boogienightsscottsdale.eventbrite.com/.
The Venue Scottsdale is located at7117 E. 3rd Avenue in Old Town.
"Boogie Nights is all about letting loose," says Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing David Twigger. "People love any reason to dress up and dance the night away."
The Venue Scottsdale has reinvested in the 29,000 square foot event space to upgrade the facility to a sleek upscale look. The roughly $1 million remodel includes Israeli limestone work throughout the venue, granite countertops, a re-inspired entry way, new doors and flooring, a new HVAC system, an upgraded audio visual system and more.
The Venue Scottsdale has also announced plans to open a new concept, V&V. The two story lounge will feature a beautiful spiral staircase leading to a third floor roof top experience. V&V is slated to open to the public in fall 2014.
