Formed in 1967 and signed in 1971, REO Speedwagon’s energy, talent and tireless work ethic quickly made them both a popular touring act and a catalyst for the burgeoning Midwest rock scene at the time. The band has generated a string of gold and platinum albums and international hit songs. Some of the players have changed during their four-plus decades. The sound, particularly the vocals of lead singer Kevin Cronin, endures in their live shows and 15 albums, the most recent of which – "Find Your Own Way Home" – was recorded in 2007. Some of their hit songs include:
- Ridin’ the Storm Out (1973)
- Roll with the Changes (1978)
- Time for Me to Fly (1978)
- Keep on Lovin’ You (1980)
- Take it on the Run (1980)
- In Your Letter (1980)
